Actress Jaycee Parker and Angeles City Councilor Jericho Genaskey Aguas will wed on August 19, at King's Royale Promenade in Bacolor, Pampanga.
According to Jaycee, picking the wedding reception venue and limiting the number of guests were the most challenging part of the preparations.
She related, "The number of guests seems to go over the capacity of the venue.
"We changed the venue twice because at first we really wanted an intimate, simple wedding.
"However, because we have a lot of close friends who we want to be with us and witness our special day, we had to get a bigger venue."
The celebrities and VIPs who will grace their wedding include Ara Mina, Antoinette Taus, Gladys Reyes and husband Christopher Roxas, and Katya Santos, among many others.
Their ninongs include Bureau of Corrections Chief Director General Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa, Senator Lito Lapid, and former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson.
Meanwhile, the prenup photos of Jaycee and Jericho have been posted on their Instagram accounts.
In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) on Friday, August 10, via Instagram's direct message, Jaycee shared some details of their prenup photo session.
Jaycee narrated, "We actually have four themes of prenup shoot.
"The 'road trip theme' is just one and because this new chapter of our lives is a trip to forever."
The couple borrowed the vintage Chevrolet Impala of Jericho's colleague, San Fernando City Councilor Tino Dizon, for their shoot at Sacobia Bridge in Mabalacat Pampanga.
The second layout was inspired by one of their favorite movies.
Jaycee told PEP.ph, "We have one theme na parang inspired siya from the movie A Walk To Remember."
The couple's boat scene was shot at Clearwater Resort and Country Club in Angeles City, Pampanga.
For the third shoot, Jaycee said, "We also have one theme na western yung dating, yung nasa garden lang kami."
This was shot at Isla Le Jardin Resort in Angeles City.
Jericho's son, Hubert Aguas, was also present during their prenup shoot.
Hubert is Jericho's son with his late wife, the actress Isabel Granada.
Their last theme, according to Jaycee, has "timeless and old-fashioned Spanish look."
This layout was shot at Casa Salome in Mabalacat, Pampanga.
When asked what her favorite part of the shoot was, Jaycee couldn't pick one and said, "The whole prenup shoot was a dream!"
The actress also thanked everyone behind the camera for making her dream prenup shoot come to life.
"The whole team—Nice Print, my makeup artist Mariah Santos, stylist Jemi Nicdao, florist Badang Rueda, and organizer Ericka Sadac of Details Matter—really, really did an amazing job.
"And to think we only had a week to prepare for the prenup shoot."
THE WEDDING
Jaycee and her groom-to-be have only eight days left before their big day.
The 33-year-old actress is beginning to feel the pressure as the day nears.
The wedding will have blush and coral motif.
On her wedding day, Jaycee will be wearing a "rock-and-royalty-inspired ballgown" by Jojo Macapinlac, whom she described as "one Pampanga's best designers."
As for Jericho, Jaycee said, "My future husband haven't tried his suit designed by Russel May."
