Regal Entertainment matriarch Lily Yu Monteverde's 80th birthday brought together the best and brightest stars in the country.
Held at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria last night, August 19, the Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda was among those who gave the most outrageous birthday wishes for Mother Lily.
Standing beside Mother Lily on stage, Vice Ganda said, "Wala akong pelikula sa Regal. Pero tuwing nagkikita kami kahit saan—pag may party sa ABS, may birthday ng kahit sino—kapag nagkikita kami, tatawagin niya ako lagi.
"'Tapos lagi niya akong pupupugin ng halik! Kaya feeling Regal baby ako!
"Happy birthday po. Mahal na mahal ka ng napakarami, kasama na ako dun."
Then Vice Ganda jokingly told Mother Lily, "And God bless you. Sana mabuhay ka pa ng maraming taon. Yung wala na kaming lahat, ikaw na lang ang natitira. Ewan ko na lang kung maging masaya ka pa nun!"
But on a serious note, Vice Ganda commended Mother Lily for her contribution in the movie industry, and for the job opportunities that benefited a lot of artists along the way.
"Sana marami pang magagandang pelikula, madami pang bituin ang magnining nang dahil sa iyo, at marami ka pang matulungang tao. Maraming Salamat sa iyo. Happy birthday!"

It was date night for Kapuso Prime-Time King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera who arrived sans their daughter Zia.

ANGEL LOCSIN
Angel Locsin, who was escorted by her boyfriend Neil Arce, recalled how Mother Lily gave her a break when she was just starting in showbiz.
Asked to give a message for the birthday celebrant, Angel told PEP.ph: "Ang daming tao dito ngayon sa birthday mo. Nagpapatunay lang na maraming nagmamahal sa iyo. Nagpapasalamat sa ilang taon na marami kang natulungang tao.
"Isa na po ako roon. First movie ko po di ko makakalimutan yun."
Before entering the grand ballroom, Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica were all smiles as they briefly spoke about their happy family life with son Alas.
BARBIE, JAK, AND SANYA
Jak Roberto arrived at the party with two gorgeous ladies—his girlfriend Barbie Forteza and his younger sister Sanya Lopez.
They were also joined by Derrick Monasterio and Ken Chan before entering the grand ballroom of Crowne Plaza.
JANELLA AND ELMO
Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona enjoyed the party together, and also mingled with some friends.
More Kapamilya stars—including Jane Oineza (2nd from L), Myrtle Sarrosa (middle), Janus del Prado (3rd from R), and Miles Ocampo (R)—greeted Mother Lily a happy birthday.

Albie Casino's first movie was Aswang (2011), which was produced by Regal Films.
Out of the seven movies he starred in, six were produced by Mother Lily.
