She elaborated, "He proposed to me last July pero no plans yet on the date or anything.
"Wala pang details kasi as of now, I'm doing Ika-5 Utos sa GMA so we're planning na tapusin muna yun.
"Or if God willing magtagal yung show, ang target namin would be January 2020.
"Yun yung pinaka-late. Yun pa lang napag-usapan namin, yung ultimatum namin, but yung pinaka-date wala pa."
Valerie added, "Originally 2019, pero siyempre kung magtatagal yung show, why not?
"Kasi at least, makakaipon din before the wedding and all, di ba?"

When asked about her dream wedding, Valerie initially dreamed of having a traditional church ceremony.
However, she no longer sees their wedding happening in a church.
She explained, "Actually before ano ako, e, very traditional yung gusto ko—church wedding, ganyan.
"But now kasi, my fiancé is Christian so we're probably gonna have a Christian wedding.
"Sabi ko nga garden kami kasi Christian wedding, e.
"Pero kakasabi ko lang sa kanya na, 'Wait, we can't do garden pala! Kasi gusto ko air con!'
"Kasi ito nga air con, pinagpapawisan na ako, di ba? Pano pa yung hindi?"
As for her wedding gown, Valerie says she'll veer off the traditional white wedding dress.
"I want something like nude or flesh pero ang gusto ko pa rin talaga naka-gown."

How are they able to survive a long-distance relationship?
Her fiancé is currently based in Guam, U.S.A., and visits them in the the country from time to time.
But despite the distance, Valerie feels secure about her relationship with Francis.
She said, "It's funny nga kasi I've had boyfriends before na nasa Pilipinas lang pero lagi akong nagpaparinig, lagi akong nagseselos, ganyan.
"It's funny lang na kung sino yung long distance, yun pa yung nagpa-feel sa akin na I have nothing to worry, na secure yung feeling ko.
"'Tapos hindi ako nababaliw, hindi ako napa-paranoid. So wala kaming ganung problem."
With free time in her hands, Valerie usually bonds with her daughter Heather Fiona.
"Meron akong 'me time,' may sarili akong time for myself.
"Kumbaga pagka pahinga ko, either ayun nga, kasama ko yung anak kong nagmu-movie, nagpapa-pamper, facial, ganyan.
"Kasi dalaga na rin e, di ba? Mahilig na rin siya mag-shopping.
"So siguro it works din nga na long distance kami ng boyfriend ko kasi nagkakaroon pa rin ako ng sarili kong time.
"At the same time, marami akong time sa daughter ko."
More than anything else, Valerie is thankful that her fiancé thinks of her daughter as his own.
She told PEP.ph, "Actually, pinagdasal ko yun kasi, you know, siyempre I want someone who loves me and who will love my daughter also, di ba?
"I think binigay naman ni Lord kasi sabi ko nga ako, grabe ako magmahal! As in todo-todo talaga bigay, 101 percent!
"Pero mas napi-feel ko na mas love na ako. Plus, the fact na yung daughter ko, pag tatanungin niya, 'Nasundo mo na ba yung anak natin?'
"Yung mga ganun, 'tapos ang tawag na rin sa kanya ng anak ko si 'Papa.' So okay sila."
