Husband and wife Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong hit two birds with one stone during their recent trip to Vietnam.
Aside from the exclusive bridal photo shoot for The Wedding Library while on a cruise ship in Ha Long Bay, the couple had an unexpected renewal of vows at the sundeck of Paradise Elegance Cruises as the sun set, making for a romantic scene just like in the movies.

A Vietnamese priest officiated the renewal of vows of Sandy and Christopher, who have been together for 39 years.

Sandy told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that they were chosen to do a photo shoot for an upcoming bridal fair because of their long-lasting marriage.
"Nag-pictorial kami for a wedding fair ng The Wedding Library... Then they asked if we wanted a real renewal of vow after pictorial, and we agreed,” she recalled.
Sandy added, "Sila lahat ang gumastos plus sponsors at nag-arrange ng lahat. Three nights and four days kami sa Ha Long Bay."

Although Sandy and Christopher did not get married until September 1996, the couple consider the date when they started their relationship as day one of their union.
"Kami na ni Bo noong March 27, 1980," Sandy said, calling Christopher by his nickname.
She further explained, "Then nagkaroon muna kami ng civil wedding noong September 1996. Then March of 2001, church wedding namin. We both agreed since sinabihan kami ng priest before na whenever you celebrate your union, count the time you started together as one.
"So ang bilang namin talaga lagi is from March 27, 1980. Noong sinagot ko si Bo, binigyan na niya ako ng wedding ring na Ying Yang ang design."
