Sibling relationships may not always be smooth, but they remain significant in the lives of people who grow up with brothers and sisters running, or ruining, the family show.
Here is one story of a brother who could not say no to his sister, which goes to show that a sibling can be one's best teammate ever.
Facebook user Maverick Francisco Oyao wrote the "untold story of a loving kuya" that has gone viral since it was posted last Friday, February 14.
In his story, Maverick said he still couldn't believe he was able to grant his sister's wish—in such a short time—to wear a stunning gown for her prom night.
He wrote, "I did not expect na magagawa ko ito on time. I even doubted my self kung magagawa ko ba ito o hinde kasi naman di ba, iba ang concept sa ginagawa na.
"But God is really good. Di niya ako pinabayaan. At may isa na namang bunsong kapatid ang napasaya ni kuya."
Maverick's story has garnered over 70,000 shares and 83,000 reactions so far,

Maverick's story detailed in photos and captions how he created a gown inspired by the clothes in Michael Cinco's Spring/Summer 2020 couture collection.
He said, "It all started nung first confirmed announcement ng school nila about sa kanilang upcoming Junior and Senior Prom, happy siya kasi at last confirmed na.
"Yun nga lang ball gown yung required which is napakamahal ng renta, baka di afford nina mama at papa, sabi ko sa kanya baka di ka matutuloy or ano ba kasi san tayo kukuha ng pang renta?
"And she insisted na gusto niya raw talaga sumali kasi last year na niya sa Junior high which is tama nga naman.
"Naawa ako bigla. Napaisip ako if gagawa na lang kame makakamura siguro? ahaha but I doubted kasi mahirap ang pag gawa.
"Makalipas ang ilang araw she’s still insisting me kaya wala choice si kuya kundi simulan ang bagong misyon.
"I browse on youtube and on google on different types of ball dresses especially Michael Cinco’s Spring and Summer Collection and start conceptualizing.
"Day by day habang sinisimulan ko siyang gawin nae-excite ako makita outcome niya and I did not even imagine the amazing outcome..."

Maverick had no background whatsoever in fashion design, but he made sketches, cut patterns, and did all the sewing to make the ballgown.
All these he achieved by watching tutorials on YouTube.
One of his captions read: "Dito ako na-amaze. As a Culture and Arts student na-apply ko skills ko sa painting.
"I painted it as ombré blue to fit in sa color palette po ng lower part ng dress. Naalala ko 1:00 am na ito eh pero kayod lang para sa kapatid ko."

He did a fantastic job, but he was more happy to see his sister overjoyed than for the fact he had done it.
In another caption, he wrote, "A day na di ko makakalimutan. I even cried with joy kasi nga paid of yung sleepless nights at pagod ni kuya nang makita ko ang saya saya ng kapatid ko at ang ganda ng outcome ket di gaano ka mahalan ang mga materiales na ginamit ko."
Toward the end of his post, Maverick thanked everyone who helped him achieve his sister's dream prom gown.
"To those who helped us financially para matapos lang on time salamat po talaga ng marame. Lam niyo na kung sino kayo...
"I’ve done my part very well as your supportive kuya and hinding-hindi ako magsasawa na suportahan ka pramis ni kuya mo iyan sa iyo...
"I hope I make you happy this Valentines Day.
"Ket di man natin nakuha ang wish mo na best dress pero for me it was the best dress and the best kasi ikaw me suot... mahal na mahal ka ni kuya mo."
