When social media platform TikTok became popular, its content was mostly trending dance challenges and viral comedy skits.
But this Pinoy priest found a new way to use TikTok that became helpful during the pandemic.
Fr. Fiel Pareja was ordained in February 2020, a month before the country went under lockdown to curb the spread of COVID-19. This changed the way people observed mass and challenged the ministry to find ways to teach the Word of God.
Fr. Fiel's nephew then gave him the idea to try out TikTok, a video content platform that was popular among the youth.
