It's still graduation season for many schools, and so, congratulations are in order for many students, including the inspiring 15-year-old twins Joy and Joyce Magsino.
These remarkable girls have defied the odds, and graduated from Lucena East I Elementary School with honors.
On July 12, 2023, their sister, Fatima Athena Magsino, took to TikTok to share a heartwarming snippet from the graduation ceremony of her twin sisters.
The video showed a touching moment as Joy and Joyce climbed the stage to receive their well-deserved medals.

Accompanied by their proud mother, Jhomarie Magsino, the two girls triumphantly ascended the stairs, greeted by applause and cheers from the audience.
The video quickly went viral, and netizens flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages.
Many admired the dedication and perseverance of the twins, as much as they applauded the parents and family for their unwavering support.

MEDICAL CONDITION
Joy and Joyce Magsino are craniopagus conjoined twins, meaning they were born with their skulls fused together.
When they were welcomed in February 2008, the prognosis given for their survival rate was very low, with doctors giving them a life expectancy of 10 years.
The twins were featured in the global TV show Born Different in 2021, where it was known that a possibility of separating Joy and Joyce exists, but it will entail an incredibly-risky operation.
The procedure also comes with a hefty price tag of USD75,000 or roughly over PHP4 million.
