Facebook user Renier Bona gave an interesting twist to the whole Uber-Grab-LTRFB fiasco with his hilarious anecdote.

Among all the social-media posts showing support for ride-hailing services Uber and Grab, Facebook user Renier Bona had one of the most unique anecdotes.

His Facebook status yesterday, July 18, read:

A student of University of the Philippines in Diliman, Renier knew the pros and cons of every riding option around Katipunan Avenue area.

He knew the cheapest option was the Katipunan-UP jeep, since Uber and Grab rates would hit up to PHP300 during rush hours.

At 1 p.m., Renier decided to take the jeep and, lo and behold, an unexpected twist of fate happened.

Or, in this case, 'fate' appeared and sat on his lap.

Everyone in the jeep—including the Atenean's friends—took a double take at the scene unfolding.

“Nagulat ako. Nagulat ang kanyang mga kaibigan. Nagulat ang jeep. Nagulat ang Katipunan Avenue. Nagulat ang Diyos.”

The unsuspecting Atenean remained seated on the lap of Renier, who was literally stuck in an awkward position.

When the Atenean realized what just happened, Renier simply heard, “Oh no! I’m sorry. It was a mistake,” as a quick apology.

Hirit ni Renier sa kanyang post, “It was a mistake?”

The words crushed him a little.

“Na-fragile ako.”

Or probably crushed him a lot.

And then, he had this hugot: "Mga pafall talaga ang mga Atenista kahit kailan."

Happy Wednesday, PEPsters!
