Jolina Magdangal's fashion has greatly evolved since her Ang TV days.
From her psychedelic outfits and wedges, she now prefers the classic style, which she previously described as "mas predictable and comfortable."
But one thing that has not changed: Her being a practical shopper.
She credits her own family for teaching her how to be prudent with money.
"In fairness naman sa family ko, naturuan nila ako na kahit na, 'O sige, kumikita ka ng sarili mong pera, meron ka ng income na ganyan...'
"Hindi pagiging kuripot, e. Hindi, e. Pero praktikal ka talaga sa lahat ng mga bagay," the Magandang Buhay host says.
"Mula nung tinuro sa akin iyon ng parents ko nung bata ako hanggang sa nagkaroon ako ng sarili kong family, mas naramdaman ko bakit kailangan maging praktikal."
JOLINA'S SHOPPING choices
She believes that the quality of an item is not always determined by its price tag.
At her contract signing with a factory-outlet company, the mother of two says, "Yung ibang mahal na sapatos ang sakit sa paa, e, para kang tutumba. Minsan kung ano pa yung mura, iyon pa yung comfy."
She suggests that people should try out the more affordable alternative first before considering the more expensive items.
"Tignan mo, bilhin mo. Mura lang naman. Try mo. Tignan mo. Uulit-ulit ka."
As for her preference, Jolina says she has no interest whatsoever in designer or luxury items.
"Siguro kung meron, kumbaga niregalo na lang sa akin ng asawa ko or parang pikit mata,
"Basta nandoon pa rin ako sa quality, hindi sa kung anong brand nito o gaanong kadami.
"Basta sa akin kung ano yung masaya ako gamitin, ulit-ulitin."
But she does not consider herself as "matipid," which is different from "pagiging sulit na tao."
She continues, "Feeling ko sa ngayon, lalo na kapag may family ka, alam mo kung ano yung sulit, ano yung mura. Dapat alam mo yung difference nun.
"'Tapos natutunan ko mula nung nagka-family na ako, na lahat ng bagay, hindi minsan nadadaan na parang mura lang. Hindi basta mura.
"Kailangan praktikal, sulit siya, at saka quality siya, lalo na para sa mga anak ko."
