Aside from its eye-catching color, the shimmering gown also featured an intricate pattern inspired by indigenous prints.
Kathryn pulled off the sultry look as she walked the red carpet with her reel- and real-life partner Daniel Padilla.
A month before the ball, Kathryn posted a teaser of her team-up with Michael on her Instagram Stories.
She was then in Dubai to attend the international premiere of her latest film Hello, Love, Goodbye.
The young Kapamilya star visited his atelier.
Michael personally took Kathryn's measurements and, as the actress revealed in her latest Instagram post, he had her try different cuts, colors, and silhouettes to see which one would fit her best.

"I originally requested to incorporate T'nalak prints to make the look very Filipino, and he did so without compromising the signature Michael Cinco aesthetic by mimicking the patterns using Swarovski crystals.
"Thank you so much Michael and team for accommodating me despite your very busy schedule and for making our vision a reality! This Filipiniana is everything I wanted and more.
"I am forever your fan and I could only wish for more collaborations in the future."
