Heart Evangelista is in France and enjoying her annual sojourn to Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
Her most memorable stop among the fashion shows was at the Boutique Chanel Joaillerie in Place Vendome, last January 23, for the exclusive VIP showcase of Tweed de Chanel—a 45-piece high-end jewelry inspired by Coco Chanel's favorite fabric.
Heart, enthralled, took a selfie wearing a pair of the luxury tweed-inspired earrings and wrote: "To be able to see @chanelofficial’s high jewelry pieces in person was an absolute honor. [heart emoji]
"The craftsmanship was one of a kind and is now definitely a dream piece...so I’ll have to keep dreaming. But for now, let’s take a photo. [diamond emoji] #PFW"
Heart first saw the collection at the Chanel High Jewelry Gala on Tuesday, January 21.
The 34-year-old actress, uploading a photo from the fashion show, wrote: "This year’s @chanelofficial high jewelry gala show did not disappoint. [heart emoji] #PFW"
Dubbed the "Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations," Heart wore a custom-made chartreuse Mark Bumgarner dress paired with a black Hermes bag for the event.
But it seems Heart has been intimidated by the price tag of the Tweed jewelry.
The Kapuso actress/host captioned one of her photos thus: "All so beautiful! Benta Bahay level [crying emoji]"
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) did the math, and based on Heart's "Benta Bahay level" comment, these high-jewelry pieces are priced astronomically, as high as the price of a mansion in the Philippines.
