Combat boots are making a comeback this year, and they have started invading the local scene.
Vice Ganda and Mimiyuuuh were recently spotted wearing Prada Monolith boots, which first made an appearance at Italian luxe brand's autumn/winter 2019 menswear fashion show in January 2019.
These boots are made of glossy leather and nylon set with chunky ridged soles and detachable logo-appliquéd pouches.
They have been worn by Hollywood actress Vanessa Anne Hudgens, Wonder Girls member Sunmi, and supermodels Kendal Jenner and Bella Hadid.
Vice Ganda posted his unboxing video on Instagram stories in February.
He bought the knee-high version, which came with a pouch on each shoe.

On Sunday, September 27, Mimiyuuuh's Prada pair spiced up the outfit he wore at a friend's wedding.
In his vlog post dated September 30, the YouTuber said he bought them as a reward for his hard work.
He said, "After nung quarantine po, talagang back to work na po ako and sunud-sunod po yung mga work ko... So yun po, parang tuluy-tuloy po yung work ko and parang gusto ko lang din po i-reward yung sarili ko."

Vice Ganda and Mimiyuuuh bought their shoes from personal shopper Aimee Hashim of Loveluxe Bags.
Vice Ganda's knee-high monolith booths are available for PHP110,000.
Meanwhile, Mimiyuuuh bought his boots for PHP84,000. Taxes are already included.
