Philippine bet Beatrice Luigi Gomez was a sight to behold during the evening gown competition of the Miss Universe 2021 pageant, which is ongoing at the Universe Arena in Port of Eilat, Israel.
The 26-year-old Cebuana beauty queen sparkled in a gold gown designed by Filipino fashion designer Francis Libiran.
In an Instagram post dated December 13, 2021, the Miss Universe Philippines Organization shared more details about Francis' creation.
"Intricately embellished with custom embroidery that depict some of the Philippines’ indigenous tribal patterns called “Pintados” meshed with Francis Libiran’s signature art deco aesthetic, this gold couture gown is truly a wearable work of art.
"With thousands of crystals carefully hand-sewn onto the piece, this represents hope and unparalleled beauty, culture, history and traditions of the Philippines."
Miss Universe 2021 commentator Carson Kressley picked Bea's evening gown as one of his favorites among the 10 finalists.
He said, "All the gold showing off and that tattoo as well!"
