Trust Vice Ganda to throw quite the party.
The It's Showtime host recently hosted The UnkabogaBall, dubbed as the "first-ever beki-star-studded ka-vogue gathering."
Rising stars in the LGBTQ+ community and some of the country's prominent figures gathered at the grand ballroom of Okada Manila in December 2021. The event took place before Metro Manila raised its quarantine guidelines to Alert Level 3.
Vice Ganda put out some of the party's highlights in a vlog posted on January 23, 2022.
In the video, the phenomenal box-office star said he wanted to bring together all the creative and talented members of the LGBTQ+ community.
He told his guests, "I want to be the bridge to create a relationship amongst all of us."
The idea for the event came after TikTok content creator Inah Evans uploaded his group photo with other social media stars on Instagram.
What was supposed to be a simple gathering to get to know the new breed of LGBTQ+ talents on social media turned into a grand event.
"Kaya sabi ko, gusto ko magkaroon ng isang simpleng acquaintance party for me to be able to meet the new baklettes in social media, yung mga bagong social media stars, yung mga influencers.
"Kasi ang dami-dami nang baklang stars ngayon. Nakakatuwa. So sabi ko, I want to have that opportunity to meet them."
All the invited guests dressed their best to follow the theme "Eksaherada Eleganza." PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) rounds up some of the most attention-grabbing looks.
VICE GANDA
Vice Ganda was the epitome of "eksaherada eleganza." The 45-year-old comedian transformed into a human disco ball during his grand entrance at the party.
