Athlete Hidilyn Diaz is excited to wear a Francis Libiran creation at her wedding.
The Olympic gold medalist is tying the knot with her fiancé, Coach Julius Naranjo, later this year.
On March 2, 2022, Francis took to Instagram to reveal that Hidilyn had already consulted with him for the design of her bridal gown.
The renowned fashion designer uploaded photos from their session and wrote in the caption: "Love is Golden. The World Champion deserves only the gold standard in fashion design on her special day! [emoji]
"#FrancisLibiran is beaming with pride to be chosen by 2020 Tokyo Olympics Gold Medalist #HidilynDiaz (@hidilyndiaz) and fiancé Julius Narajo (@imjulius) as the official designer for their much-awaited wedding. [white heart emoji]"
Francis' business partner Arsi Baltazar also took to Instagram to thank the couple for their trust.
Arsi wrote in his post, "Thank you, @hidilyndiaz and @imjulius for coming to our atelier.
"Indeed, @francislibiran8 and I are so thrilled for this huge milestone project with you!!
"It is absolutely an honor and a pleasure!! [emoji] #FrancisLibiran #HidilynDiaz"
In an interview with Dolly Anne Carvajal of Philippine Daily Inquirer last October 2021, the couple revealed they are planning to hold their wedding in Baguio City.
Hidilyn said, "We're planning a simple private wedding in Mount Costa in Baguio. The place doesn't really matter as long as God is there and our loved ones."
The couple have also finalized their honeymoon plans.
Hidilyn told Dolly Anne, "I want our honeymoon to be in Europe or any place where we will be away from it all and have time for both of us to plan the future."
