The Miss Universe 2022 pageant has just started and Philippine bet Celeste Cortesi is already giving her best in the fashion department.
Celeste's all-red OOTD was a trending topic when she arrived in New Orleans, Louisiana for the Miss Universe 2022 pageant on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 (Philippine time).
The 25-year-old beauty queen shared photos of her bold, monochromatic outfit on her Instagram account with the caption, "This is it Philippines! [emoji] Swipe for some smiles [emoji]."
In the photos, Celeste is seen wearin a fur-lined red patent coat. She wore this over a red dress and a matching pair of thigh-high boots.
Prior to this, Celeste also donned a red Filipiniana dress designed by Chris Nick. Her dress was complemented by her nude pumps and pearl jewelry from Jewelmer.
The Filipino-Italian model wore the outfit during her intimate send-off party hosted by Charina Vergara at Titas of Manila, a well-known Filipino restaurant in Los Angeles, California.
For both OOTDs, Celeste was styled by Perry Tabora. Her glam team included makeup artist Mickey See and hairstylist Renz Pangilinan.

In her exclusive interview with U.S.-based ABS-CBN news correspondent Steve Angeles, Celeste talked about how she balances having fun and preparing for the pageant on her very first trip to the U.S.
She said, "It was amazing. This is my first time in the U.S. and I really enjoyed so much, especially the people... are so kind and so welcoming.
"And, of course, I had to focus a lot on my trainings, so I did that and I spent a lot [of time] with my team, so I'm very grateful for that."
Celeste flew to the U.S. weeks before the Miss Universe 2022 pageant officially started.
She arrived in Los Angeles, California with her team from Miss Universe Philippines Organization last December 18, 2022, for some pre-pageant preparations.
With the time she had spent in the U.S. prior to the competition, Celeste confidently told Steve that she's ready for Miss Universe.
Celeste said, "It's good because I was able to adapt with the time-change and everything so I really can't wait."
The grand coronation night of the Miss Universe 2022 pageant will be held on January 14, 2023 (January 15, PH time), at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center.
