Sharon Cuneta recently shared her positive shopping experience at the Hermès store in LAX (Los Angeles International Airport).
In an Instagram post uploaded earlier today, April 12, 2023, the Filipino actress-singer praised the warm and welcoming staff who assisted her throughout her shopping spree at the LAX Hermès store.
She wrote in her caption (published as is): "Finally got my new Hermés belts (my 20+-year-old ones are still too tight! Pero lapit na…! [emoji]) - plus a few other things at The LAX Hermés store!"
Thanks to the accommodating staff, Sharon was prompted to buy more goods than she initially planned. Her extra purchases included throw blankets and accessories.
"Ang bait nila, napabili pa ko tuloy ng iba!
"I’ve always loved their cashmere throws too so got myself a couple of new ones plus bracelets!"

The experience also had her name-dropping the sales attendant who made her LAX stop worthwhile: "Thank you to S.A. Miss Ivy for the great service!"
Sharon ended her post with the hashtags #hermeslax and #walanangisyuha!, alluding to her encounter with the security personnel of an Hermès store in South Korea.

SEOUL HERMÈS STORE INCIDENT
It can be recalled that Sharon made headlines in October 2022, when she uploaded a vlog about being "snubbed" at an Hermès boutique in Shinsegae Department Store, in Seoul, South Korea.
After being denied entry to the store, Sharon decided to go shopping at a competing luxury brand, Louis Vuitton, where she filled up lots of shopping bags.
Passing by the Hermès store again with her newly-purchased LV goods, she signaled to the store's security staff, "No more, I buy everything."

Sharon later clarified in a succeeding vlog that she had nothing against the Hermès staff, and that she knew their protocol as well.

She said, "I know, of course, I know that you need an appointment with an Hermès boutique before you can go…
"Usually, pag konti lang naman ang clients sa loob, yung shoppers, sometimes they let you in…"
"I really, truthfully, do not need anything more from Hermès that I don’t already have.
"So, hindi po ako na-offend. Naintindihan ko agad yung guard.
"Wala namang kinalaman yung guard, bakit naman sasama ang loob ko?"
"Hindi rin ako nagyabang. Kaya sabi ko, ‘Yes, I cannot go [inside]. Look, I bought everything.’ Ginanun ko lang siya, pero nakangiti ako."
