Liza Soberano shines as she makes her entrance at the 2nd Gold Gala.
Today, May 8, 2023, the 25-year-old actress shared a glimpse of her time from the event that honored Asian creators, and was celebrated two days earlier at the Music Center in Los Angeles, California.

Clad in a bedazzling Mark Bumgarner custom Balintawak, Liza looked every bit a modern Filipina.
The gown featured studs that ran from the butterfly sleeves down to the skirt's hem, a sheer outer layer, and a translucent midriff.

To complete her look, Liza wore her hair in a half ponytail, courtesy of Ryan Richman, who has worked with Lea Michele, Cara Delevigne, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Leslie Mann, Kaia Gerber, and Sadie Sink.

Meanwhile, Korean make-up artist Pircilla Pae did her magic for Liza's quintessential oriental look, emphasized by the eyelid crease liner.
Like Ryan, Pircilla is no stranger to A-listers as well, having worked with Jennifer Connelly, BLACKPINK member Jennie, Demi Moore, Lil Nas X, and Kit Harrington, to name a few.

Finally, her sparkly diamond accessories are from the Los Angeles-based full-service jewelry store, Global Rings Jewelry Inc..

MEETING OTHER ARTISTS
The gathering also became a channel for Liza to get together with other Asian artists who excel in their respective fields.
First up, she met with vocal powerhouse and "Disney Legend" Lea Salonga.

Liza also rubbed elbows with fellow artists from Southeast Asia, such as Fil-Am TikTok star Bella Poarch, Filipino-born American model Geena Rocero, Filipino-American make-up artist Patrick Starrr, and American-born Vietnamese beauty YouTuber Michelle Phan.

South Korean indie-rock The Rose also got to strike a pose alongside the Careless Music talent.

Gold Gala was organized by Gold House, which is described by its website as "the leading cultural ecosystem that unites, invests in, and champions Asian Pacific creators and companies to power tomorrow for all."
The nonprofit collective of Asian founders and creative voices holds the annual Gold Gala to recognize Asian Pacific luminaries and leaders and celebrate their achievements.
Some of its guests for the night included Ke Huy Quan, Daniel Dae Kim, Awkwafina, Randall Park, Ashley Park, Jamie Chung, Ming-Na Wen, and Stephanie Hsu.
