It's Showtime host Vice Ganda arrived at the ABS-CBN Ball 2023 ready to slay, and slay she did.
On the evening of Saturday, September 30, 2023, this TV personality and phenomenal star graced the red carpet at Makati Shangri-La in a fabulous hooded electric blue sculptured long trail gown with legging boots.
Vice's dress stood out with its grandeur, showcasing intricate details mimicking the fluidity of water and underlining a gravity-defying shape.
"Throwing shade. Shedding light. Serving ICONIQUE UNKABOGABILITY."
Vice Ganda captioned her Instagram post, revealing the inspiration behind her stunning red-carpet look.
In another post, Vice Ganda wrote, "The QUEEN is here to slay."
The masterful creation was exclusively designed by renowned Indian couturier, Gaurav Gupta.
While this gown is a unique piece, its design bears a striking resemblance to the "Shunya" collection from the designer's Spring/Summer 2023 couture line, first unveiled at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week in January 2023.
The gown also drew parallels to the exquisite dress Gaurav designed for Cardi B, a piece she flaunted during the Grammy Awards 2023.
Aside from Cardi B, Gaurav has also caught the eyes of many other international celebrities, including Shakira, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, Jenna Ortega, and Beyonce.
Beyoncé, in particular, showcased two of his creations during her Rennaissance Tour in the United States.
Adding a touch of sparkle to her already stunning red carpet look, Vice Ganda donned a diamond-encrusted cascading necklace, chandelier earrings, and a bangle that appeared to be crafted with blue sapphires—all elegantly sourced from DiaGold.
Vice's trusted style consultant and go-to designer, Neric Beltran, joined forces with celebrity stylist Aaron Mangsat to craft this look.
Neric, in an interview with Preview.ph, expressed their intention to introduce a "new era of elevated dressing" for the Kapamilya superstar.
Completing the ensemble were beautiful blonde waves styled by Buern Rodriguez and a makeup look, fit for a superstar and crafted by Emman Concepcion.
