Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray stuns in a figure-hugging silver dress designed by Julianne Syjuco on the red carpet of ABS-CBN Ball 2023.
She walked the red carpet hand in hand with fiancé Sam Milby.
The glamorous event unfolded on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the grand ballroom of Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
High jewelry pieces from Bvlgari added an extra layer of color and sparkle to her look.
Catriona said of her jewelry, "I feel very honored to wear it. And you know I love a good accessory, a loud accessory. So, I feel very beautiful tonight."
When asked by the press about the cost of her jewelry, the Cornerstone talent honestly responded, "I don't know..."
However, an unnamed individual, presumably close to the couple, disclosed that the total worth of all the accessories she wore amounted to PHP13 million.
Upon hearing this, Catriona reacted, "PHP13 million? Oh my god! I'm scared now."
For those curious about the specifics of Catriona's jewelry, one notable piece was the Bvlgari Allegra necklace.
This exquisite accessory was crafted from 18 kt rose gold and adorned with a stunning array of gemstones, including amethysts, peridots, pink tourmalines, citrine quartzes, blue topazes, and pavé diamonds.
According to the brand's official website, this necklace comes with a staggering price tag of USD136,000 or approximately PHP7,704,468.
On Catriona's hand, PEP.ph spotted that she's wearing a Bvlgari Allegra ring, a dazzling 18 kt rose gold piece embellished with a pink tourmaline, an amethyst, a blue topaz, and pavé diamonds.
This piece is priced at USD10,900 or PHP617,490.45, according to the brand's website.
PEP.ph also spotted Catriona wearing a pair of Bvlgari rose gold chandelier earrings with amethysts, peridots, rubellites, and pavé diamonds.
This pair belongs to Bvlgari's The Diva collection, introduced in 2013, with supermodel Carla Bruni serving as the campaign's face for the brand.
There are no online price details available for these earrings online.
But if we calculate, a pair of these earrings could be priced at approximately PHP4 million to PHP5 million, considering the estimated total value of all the mentioned jewelry is PHP13 million.
CATRIONA GRAY'S RED-CARPET LOOK
Before the couple hit the red carpet, Catriona stopped by the media area and had a chat with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
Explaining the inspiration behind her red-carpet look, she said, "I just wanted to do something a little bit different because I haven't worn anything like this before.
"I enjoyed just a little bit of color because I know that the theme is black tie."
Beyond simply standing out on the red carpet, she wanted her outfit to harmonize with her fiancé's ensemble.
"I wanted to complement Sam's outfit, of course. I have a date for the first time at the ABS-CBN Ball," she beamed.
Catriona added, "I've always thought that silver is a very flattering color.
"And so, taking into consideration that Sam will be wearing black, they wouldn't clash together. They would look timeless."
Catriona's pastel blue feather boa and golden strappy sandals gave a vibrant touch to her ensemble.
