Actress Janine Gutierrez's debut look for the ABS-CBN Gala was nothing short of spectacular.
The Kapamilya network's highly awaited charity event, marking its third edition, took place on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
The event saw prominent stars from the network elegantly striding down the red carpet at the grand ballroom of Makati Shangri-La Hotel.

Stepping into her "leading lady era" at the gala's comeback edition after a three-year hiatus since 2019, the 33-year-old Kapamilya talent donned a custom Rajo Laurel gown.
Janine's gown showcased cabernet red silk plissé fabric, adorned with a hand-ruched bodice and a silk organdie accordion train.
In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Rajo mentioned that he sought a look that resonated with Janine's leading lady status, reminiscent of the glamorous aura of Hollywood actress Veronica Lake and the iconic comic character Jessica Rabbit.
"She wanted something that would announce her leading lady status.
"I wanted something modern but echoing old Hollywood. A balance between Veronica Lake and Jessica Rabbit."
Janine personally chose the gown's color with Rajo prioritizing texture and subtle elegance over excessive bling.
Rajo told PEP.ph, "Janine was set on a deep russet red... While I wanted texture and a restraint of the proverbial bling."
Beneath her flowing dress, Janine had on a pair of red Saint Laurent Claude Sandals in patent leather.

To finish her look, Janine adorned herself with diamond teardrop earrings and several diamond-studded rings, enhancing her over-all stunning presence.

Janine's red-carpet look was carefully put together by Maita Baello and Melville Sy from Studio.24C.
Additionally, hairstylist Jay Aquino skillfully crafted Veronica Lake's signature over-one-eye curl for Janine, a perfect complement to makeup artist Anthea Bueno's modernized take on classic Hollywood glam for the Dirty Linen star's beauty look.
Before the highly anticipated ball, Janine revealed her ensemble through a photoshoot by Kenneth Tangonan and a video shoot by Stephanie Joy Cea in Escolta, Manila.
