On September 30, 2023, Andrea captivated everyone at the third edition of the Kapamilya network's charity event, showcasing a dazzling red dress crafted by Michael Leyva that beautifully highlighted her figure.
This red-hot ensemble was expertly curated by celebrity stylist Eldzs Mejia with the assistance of Carl Alberto.
In a short chat via Instagram's direct message, Eldzs disclosed that it took Michael "a total of 280 hours involving 15 sewers and beaders to complete this outstanding masterpiece, adorned with an impressive array of over 50,000 Swarovski crystals."
Andrea also donned custom-made heels by Doreen Odvina, enhancing her stature and giving her a taller appearance.
THE BLYTHE RUBY
Andrea's vibrant red gown makes a striking statement on its own, but she took her ensemble to the next level with a jewelry set from LVNA by Drake Dustin.
This jewelry set, dubbed "The Blythe Ruby," is named after the actress by Drake Dustin Ibay, the founder of LVNA by Drake Dustin.
In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Drake revealed more details about Andrea's jewelry set.
The necklace features an impressive 57-carat natural ruby at its center, encircled by a cluster of mixed-cut diamonds totaling 51 carats in weight.
The earrings mirror this beauty, displaying 12-carat rubies in a deep red hue hanging delicately from strands embellished with a combined weight of 8 carats of solitaire emerald cut diamonds and accompanied by a matching pair of 5-carat princess cut diamonds.
Completing the set is her ring which is a moi et toi twin 14-carat ruby and 3-carat diamond ring.
The price tag for this exquisite jewelry set is a staggering PHP320 million or USD5.6 million!
It likely holds the record for being the most expensive jewelry ever seen on the red carpet at the ABS-CBN Ball.
ANDREA BRILLANTES: BEHIND THE GLAM
In addition, hairstylist RJ dela Cruz masterfully revived old Hollywood glamour through Andrea's side-swept wavy hair.
This beautifully harmonized with makeup artist Marben Talanay's contemporary interpretation of the classic Hollywood makeup aesthetic.
On Sunday, October 1, 2023, Andrea posted additional photos of her outfit of the day (OOTD) taken before the much-awaited ball during a photoshoot by Charisma Lico with production design by AdSet Prod.
In her caption, Andrea expressed her appreciation for all those who played a part in creating this remarkable red carpet ensemble.
She wrote, "It has been my greatest privilege to wear a masterpiece created by artisans last night. My gown was made by @michaelleyva_ and his team, who spent hours and hours hand beading every crystals.
"To complete the look, I was adorned with beautiful custom jewelry by @lunabydrakedustin, what a dream to be able to wear a beautiful piece [emoji] I am truly grateful and honored.
"I just want to give a huge shoutout to my fairy godmothers, aka my amazing glam team. Seriously, you guys always have my back and make me look stunning. I am beyond blessed to have you as my team and as lifelong friends.
