Filipino drag queen Marina Summers is making waves on the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs. the World, firmly establishing herself as a frontrunner for the title.
In the show's third episode, Marina Summers paid tribute to Catriona Gray by sporting her interpretation of the beauty queen's iconic lava gown from the Miss Universe 2018 pageant.

Sharing the inspiration behind her look, Marina Summers declared, "I am serving you a volcano goddess.
"This look is inspired by the Philippines because we have a lot of active volcanoes. Come on, education!"
The drag queen added, "I serve you this beautiful lava goddess Oh baby, this girl is on fire!"
Marina Summers' rendition of the lava gown was crafted by Mak Tumang, the same fashion designer who made Catriona's winning evening gown.
Mak Tumang's masterpiece was unveiled on the runway when Marina Summers stripped off her structured volcano-inspired outer dress by Job Dacon.
Completing her rendition of the lava gown was a custom headpiece by jewelry designer Manny Halasan.
Overall, Marina Summers' runway ensemble was skillfully curated by celebrity stylist Paul Sese.
In an Instagram post, Paul conveyed his gratitude to Mak for his dedication in crafting this piece for Marina Summers.
Part of his caption read: "We were so excited for everyone to see this look as it’s one of the looks we meticulously curated for this runway.
"Thank you so much sir @maktumang for not having any second thoughts and immediately saying yes to this concept and project.
"So happy to see it come to life and storm the main stage [emojis]"
