A sweet surprise has come knocking at Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach's door.
The beauty queen, deeply appreciative, was exuberant in thanking the luxury brand Balmain for saving her day after relating her luggage mishap on June 10, 2024.
Pia uploaded a carousel of photos on her Instagram story, flaunting a Sleeping Beauty-inspired dress with pink high-slit skirt and white off-the-shoulder collar.
Her caption read (published as is): "In full bloom [heart emoji]
"This dress [heart eyes emoji] A big shoutout to @balmain who heard about what happened and sent me something to wear.

PIA TURNS CHALLENGE INTO OPPORTUNITY
What happened was that Pia found herself in rather unfortunate circumstances on her way to Greece.
But, being the optimistic woman that she is, Pia looked on the bright side rather than dwell on the setback.
She wrote in a social media post: "Backstory: a bit of bad luck…the airline lost my luggage so I pretty much had nothing to wear for our weekend in #Greece. [emoji]
"But of course, we come with style, even if it’s last minute. We’re up for the challenge! [wink emoji].
"My stylist was able to source some pretty neat resort ‘fits here in #Athens, turning a fashion emergency into a fab moment.
"Plus we got to see some sights along the way. Love how this turned out. [white heart emoji]
"P.S. Swipe til last for a surprise gift. Can’t wait to show you what’s inside."
