What a way for Nadine Samonte to celebrate her 37th birthday.
The Kapuso actress announced on Instagram that she'll be gracing the runway at a fashion show event on Sunday, March 2, 2025 — a day made more special as it falls on the same day of her birthday.
The event is titled Timeless Beauty and will take place at the Westin Palace in Milan.
It coincides with the ongoing Milan Fashion Week, which runs until March 3 and has attracted a star-studded lineup of celebrities, including Keira Knightley, Normani, Kelly Rutherford, Hunter Schafer, Hailee Steinfeld, and K-pop idols Mina of TWICE and Bang Chan of Stray Kids.
"BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT EVER"
On Instagram, Nadine described this latest blessing as the "best birthday gift ever."
Nadine revealed that she'll be representing the work of a Filipino designer, closing the show as the finale model.
Wrote Nadine (published as is): "Turning 37 tomorrow and i feel so blessed. Grabe blessings this year."
She added, "First Thank You Lord [praying emoji] alam nya kung anu ang nasa puso ko and isang pangarap ang matutupad sa mismong birthday ko."
Nadine added that while she may not be lucky in other aspects, she's incredibly grateful for "this opportunity and for having my family supporting me all the way."
Italy, as it turns out, isn't Nadine's only stop.
She's set to head next to Paris, France, for another fashion show on March 9.

GRATEFUL ALWAYS
Nadine made showbiz headlines in July last year after she called out the organizers of GMA Network's gala event for apparently treating her poorly.
The star-studded affair happened on July 20, 2024, at the Manila Marriott Grand Ballroom in Newport, Pasay City.
It was revealed that Nadine was initially left out of the guest list despite being a talent of the network, and was later given a seat at the back of the function room.
Nadine decided to leave the event early to avoid further embarrassment.

Her experience drew sympathies from fans, who slammed the Kapuso network for mistreating their idol.
Nadine would later appeal to the public to let the issue rest and move forward from the incident.

“Appreciated all your sweet messages but this needs to end. I would like to move on and look at the brighter side of life. Thank you Sparkle Family for looking into this matter to prevent any future mishaps,” Nadine wrote on Instagram.
“Thank you to my Team and my handler for your relentless love and support. Lastly Thank you to GMA and Sparkle for reaching out to me, it truly meant so much."
Nadine defended her home network against criticisms, emphasizing that her relationship with management was perfectly fine.
“Uulitin ko never po naging masama ang loob ko sa network at lagi ko nga sinasabi hindi magkakaroon ng isang Nadine Samonte kung hindi dahil sa GMA and I will forever be grateful for that."
