Marian Rivera gained significant attention for her recent trip to Vietnam.

The Kapuso actress served as the vedette or star model at the Lunar Fracture - The Art of Harmony Showcase by Vietnamese luxury fashion house, Hacchic Couture.

She walked the runway on October 15, 2025.

Marian spoke to GMA News and PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) about her memorable experience while attending the grand opening of Avignon Clinic at SM Pampanga on October 18, 2025.

"So sobrang happy talaga ako and yung mga taong doon sobrang sweet, sobrang bait. Alam mo yun? Parang sabi ko, 'Wow! Homecoming ko ba ito?'"

Marian revealed that her last visit to Vietnam was about 10 years ago. She learned then that the Kapuso series she had top-billed had gained a following there.

Recalling a fan interaction, she noted: "I think mas nag-rehistro talaga sa kanila yung Dyesebel.

"Kasi minsan, magpapa-picture sila, sabihin ko, 'Why?' Sabi niya, 'Because I watched your movie.' 'What movie?' 'You're a mermaid.' Sabi ko, 'Ah, Dyesebel.'"

MARIAN RIVERA'S HACCHIC COUTURE STORY

Meanwhile, her relationship with Vietnamese luxury brand Hacchic Couture started with a personal event: her 10th wedding anniversary and vow renewal with Dingdong Dantes.

The initial connection was established when Marian's stylist, Melville Sy of Studio 24C, gifted her a Hacchic Couture gown for the ceremony.

So parang sabi ko, 'Ah, okay!'

"Hanggang dun na nagsimula yung communication."

This connection evolved into an ongoing partnership.

Since the vow renewal, Hacchic Couture and Marian have stayed in touch, with the luxury fashion house dressing her for several occasions, including episodes of the GMA show Stars on the Floor.

Marian said, "Actually, pati sa Stars on the Floor, dinadamitan nila ako. May mga damit ako na pinapadala nila."

This eventually led to Marian being tapped to headline the brand's major fashion event.

"And then, parang nag-approach sila na parang, 'Magkakaroon kaming ng event. Gusto namin maging parang muse ni Marian. Possible kaya?'

"Parang sabi ko naman, bakasyon yung kids kasi for one week. Sabi ko, 'Uy! Baka God's will kasi bakasyon yung mga kids.' Sabi ko, 'Sige i-try ko, gawin ko.'"

Did Marian Rivera feel nervous walking the runway for Hacchic Couture, considering it had been a while since her last show?

Marian told PEP that she was more excited than nervous.

In her words: "Actually, hindi ako kinabahan doon sa pagrampa ko, mas na-e-excite ako makita nila gawa niya, Hacchic, kasi ang gaganda talaga nung mga gowns.

"Sabi ko, 'Wala parang talaga ba? Eto na ba yun? Moment ba ito?'

"Nakakatuwa, grabe, overwhelmed talaga.

MARIAN RIVERA: PROMISE TO RETURN

Apart from walking the runway, another highlight of Marian's Vietnam trip was her visit to the brand's main boutique.

Marian was reportedly amazed by the sheer size of the seven-floor establishment, including all the incredible creations she saw during the tour.

Nakaka-in love actually."

As a sign of appreciation for Marian's participation, Hacchic Couture extended a grand gesture, offering to create her gown should she decide to renew her wedding vows with Dingdong again.

"Sabi ko, 'Of course!'

Ultimately, Marian expressed her deep gratitude, thanking the brand and the fans she met.

Parang sabi ko babalik at babalik talaga ako for them."
