The 51st edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival has brought powerhouse comedian Vice Ganda and child star Lucas Andalio together for Call Me Mother.
The comedy-drama revolves around Twinkle, played by Vice, and his struggle to keep his adoptive son Angelo in his life.
With Nadine Lustre, John “Sweet” Lapus, Brent Manalo, and Mika Salamanca rounding out the cast, the movie is currently dominating the Christmastime box office.
Less than a week after their nationwide premiere, Vice and Lucas have been riding high, especially during the film festival's awards night last December 27, 2025.
Right before the festivities began, Vice gave his on- and off-screen son a special present for his MMFF debut.
VICE GANDA'S DESIGNER BAG GIFT TO LUCAS ANDALIO
In a reel uploaded by make-up artist Jelly Eugenio, Lucas can be seen visiting his "mama Twinkle" as he was getting ready for the big night.
While hhe was perched on a make-up chair, hhe instructed the child actor to open a gift he prepared for him.
Emerging from the box was a backpack decked out in Dior's unmistakable Oblique motif.
Lucas was too excited to put down the bag that he just had to try it on immediately!
The two leads shared a sweet hug before snapping photos and heading to the blue carpet.

Lucas' new backpack is a pretty covetable piece for fashionistas of all ages.
While there’s certainly no stopping kids like him from wearing the designer carrier to school, it can also be worn by adults for office days or overseas trips.
At PHP170,000, it's a bag that will definitely catch the gaze of those around you.
