MaxMara unveiled its Spring/Summer 2026 collection in the Philippines with an intimate and exclusive showcase held on March 19, 2026, at its Greenbelt 3 boutique in Makati City.
Held under the brand’s "Jacket Circle" series, the event spotlighted MaxMara’s enduring mastery of refined tailoring and modern femininity, drawing a stylish audience eager to encounter Italian elegance reimagined for a local setting.
MAXMARA SPRING/SUMMER 2026
The collection originally debuted at Milan Fashion Week on September 25, 2025, where Creative Director Ian Griffiths looked to Madame de Pompadour—the influential 18th-century French court figure often dubbed the “Queen of Rococo”—as his starting point.
Historical references from the 1780s met 1980s New Romantic flair, resulting in sharp tailoring balanced by soft, theatrical details.
Sculptural florals, airy organza, and a palette of butter yellow, powder blue, pearl, and neutrals were grounded by MaxMara’s signature jackets, suits, and trenches, blending quiet luxury with dramatic accents.

MANILA'S JACKET CIRCLE
Set within the intimate setting of the Greenbelt 3 boutique, guests were able to appreciate MaxMara’s craftsmanship up close, from the luxurious feel of the fabrics to the precise detailing showcased during the Jacket Circle event.

CRISTALLE BELO-PITT
The entrepreneur opted for a sleek monochromatic green ensemble from the “Futurebuilder" collection.
She wore a double-breasted wool-and-silk blazer in dark green, layered over a sage green viscose-blend knit top, and finished the look with matching wide-leg wool-and-silk trousers.
Speaking about her choice, Cristalle said: "This outfit, it's actually known as the future builder, and I can totally resonate with that because I'm all about building—building my family or building businesses, building communities."

Beyond its symbolism, she praised the ensemble’s timelessness, noting that its classic silhouette and cargo-inspired edge make it what she calls “future-proof”—a look she believes will remain stylish even years down the line.
In her words: "And what I love about a future builder is its future proof. So this is not only stylish but feeling ko, the colors are actually something that can go with the season.
"Even though I use this five years from now, feeling ko, it's still in because it has that cargo look."
Cristalle also offered a simple styling tip on layering, using her outfit as an example.
She explained that removing the blazer creates a polished corporate look, while putting it back on instantly elevates the outfit for meetings or formal settings, proving its adaptability from day to night.
Cristalle told PEP: "For example, tatanggalin ko yung jacket. So it looks nice pa rin in corporate like this, but when I enter a conference room, I can just put my jacket over me and it gives a totally different look."
The double-breasted wool-and-silk blazer is priced at AED 5,380 (approximately PHP 89,119.73), the viscose-blend yarn top at AED 1,530 (around PHP 25,343.42), and the matching trousers at AED 2,790 (about PHP 46,214.48).
CAT ARAMBULO-ANTONIO
The social-media personality delivered a "safari-ready" take on MaxMara with her chosen look, aptly named "Unperfectness."
She wore the Wool Agenzia Shirt Jacket paired with Wool Flared Trousers in camel, styling the ensemble for both relaxed and refined moments—casual enough for a day out with a simple black tank top, yet polished with minimal adjustments.
What Cat appreciated most was the outfit’s versatility.
"I love how this jacket is so versatile. You can wear it in so many ways. And I love how the sleeves, you can pull up and it gives a totally different look.
"So, you can wear it open or closed and it goes perfect with almost anything.
"You can even wear it with leggings, jeans, and slacks and it makes everything look so polished."

When it comes to layering, Cat emphasized personal expression and thoughtful accessorizing.
"I think layering is really all about personal style and how you're feeling for the day.
"So, like, with this outfit, if you take it [the jacket] off, it's a very simple outfit.
"But when you layer it on with accessories, and you put this jacket on, it just totally changes the look.
"You look more polished, put together, a little bit more dressy. And I think just layering is really just all about, being creative about your style and doing it tastefully."
For reference, the wool Agenzia shirt jacket is available on Pauw.com for EUR1,085 (approximately PHP 75,725.41), while the wool pleated trousers are priced at EUR539 (around PHP 37,654.54).
GRACE BARBERS-BAJA
The Grace Home Manila founder chose a matching set from the collection, wearing the Twill Cargo Trousers and Cropped Worker Jacket in sand—aptly named "Movefreeness."
The relaxed yet functional pairing reflected her on-the-go lifestyle and quickly emerged as her standout piece from the line-up.
Speaking to PEP, Grace said: "This is actually my favorite piece in the spring/summer 2026 collection of MaxMara. I love it because it's actually very comfortable to wear and to move.
"So I'm a very busy mom and I travel a lot and I love that I can wear this anywhere.
"I can wear this here in Manila or when I travel, I can wear it in the plane and I can wear it, in any place outside the country. So yeah, I love it."

She added that the set works just as well in warm climates as it does elsewhere, noting how easily it can be layered when temperatures drop.
Sharing her styling tips, Grace explained, "Well, now that I'm in Manila and I'm wearing it here, I'm not wearing anything inside.
"So it's really just my top, my jacket, and my pants, which is cropped. So it's perfect for the weather.
"If I were to use it, say, somewhere colder, I'll wear a tank top inside or a short-sleeved shirt or even a three-fourth sleeve shirt inside just to keep me warm.
"And then when, again, I'm going inside, say, a restaurant, I can just take off the jacket. So yeah, I think it, it works in many ways."
According to Pauw.com, the MaxMara Cropped Worker Jacket is priced at EUR915 (about PHP64,028.96), while the Twill Cargo Trousers retail for EUR495 (about PHP34,638.62).
