Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera is feeling both grateful and honored after being named the newest “Friend of the House” by luxury brand Bulgari.
The global jewelry house officially welcomed Marian to the Bulgari family during an intimate dinner held at Penthouse No. 66 of Grand Hyatt Manila in Bonifacio Global City on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
For those unfamiliar, the title “Friend of the House” is a prestigious recognition given by luxury brands to personalities who naturally embody their values and have a strong affinity for their products.
Unlike formal brand ambassadors, Friends of the House have a more flexible partnership—appearing at events, joining campaigns, and promoting the brand in an organic way.
In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and GMA News, Marian opened up about her reaction to receiving the honor.
"Siyempre grateful ako, tsaka honored ako. Pero sabi ko nga, mixed emotion kasi parang, ‘Totoo ba? May ganun?’
"Pero siyempre mas nanaig yung sobrang grateful ako, and honored talaga to represent talaga... Bulgari."
She also expressed excitement about what lies ahead in her partnership with the global brand.
"Sabrang honored talaga ako na siyempre i-represent si Bulgari and very excited din ako doon sa partnership naming dalawa kasi ang dami naming gagawin globally."
Along with the recognition comes responsibility—something Marian said she fully embraces.
"Kaakibat talaga ’yan. Talagang may responsibility kapag naging friend of the house ka of Bulgari kasi ang daming commitment na kailangan mong gawin for them.
"At sabi ko naman, doon pa rin ako as Marian, na totoo, alam mo yung ganun? Yung doon pa rin tayo."
As for whether fans can expect to see her at big international fashion shows, Marian hinted that appearances are already being planned—but with a focus on events.
"Not fashion shows siguro, but mga event. Mas doon ako sa event. Pero aayusin naman yung schedule na naaayon, na hindi sunud-sunod yung pag-alis."
Marian now joins Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey, who was first introduced as a Bulgari Friend of the House in June 2024. The actress also shared her appreciation for Pia’s warm support.
"Sobrang sweet ni Pia. Actually, nag-text nga ako sa kanya na... today yung night na, na event ko.
"And then sabi niya, ‘I’ll see you.’ Sabi ko, ‘Why, ‘I’ll see you’?’ ‘Para I’ll support you tonight.’ Oh, di ba? Sobrang sweet."
Also present to support Marian was her husband Dingdong Dantes.
Bulgari Philippines’ Jesha Abad was also in attendance together with celebrities including Max Collins, Gabbi Garcia, Ruru Madrid, Richard Juan, and Shaira Luna.
With this new milestone, Marian continues to solidify her presence not just in Philippine showbiz, but also on the global luxury stage.
