Classic suits were pulled apart and reassembled through unexpected proportions, displaced details, contrasting fabrics, exposed layers, and unconventional silhouettes.
Held on September 10 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom of Marriott Manila in Newport World Resorts, the ball marked Preview’s 31st year, and brought together designers, artists, and familiar names in Philippine fashion and entertainment.
Rather than treating deconstruction as simply an exercise in making clothes look unfinished, this year’s guests showed how familiar pieces can be reworked into something more abstract, irregular, and unexpected while retaining a sense of polish.

Alden Richards
Alden Richards's jacket featured raw, unfinished-looking edges at the armholes and an elongated silhouette, while the wide-legged trousers loosened the proportions of traditional tailoring.

Donny Pangilinan
