Does this striped bag look familiar?
It looks similar to the sako bags sold in Divisoria, Baclaran, and Baguio City, right?
But it's said to be inspired by the "rainbow" bags sold in Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, and other Asian countries.

It's called Cabas Shopper from Balenciaga, a 97-year-old brand founded by Spanish designer Cristobal Balenciaga.
And it's pricey.
The lambskin-made tote, which measures 57 x 49 x 31.5 cm, costs $2,225, according to its website.
The tag price can go up to US$10,599.15, depending on composition and size.
Here are the other colors.

When it was launched last March, critics were quick to label it "a fashion joke."
But in the end, its size and function had earned the approval of bag lovers.
Will you invest on it?
