Jodi Sta. Maria channels Amor Powers on the red carpet of the Emmy Awards

Jodi Sta. Maria looked divine on the red carpet of the 44th International Emmy Awards held in the Hilton New York Hotel.

Wearing a custom Mark Bumgarner gown, the Kapamilya actress channeled her Amor Powers character and slayed her red-carpet appearance.

It was her portrayal of the iconic character Amor Powers from the 2015 remake of Pangako Sa 'Yo that garnered Jodi her Best Actress nomination at the Emmy's.

Although she lost to German film and TV actress Christiane Paul of Unterm Radar (Under The Radar), Jodi made Filipinos proud. 

With special thanks to her glam team—makeup artist Lala Flores, hairstylist Jay Wee, and fashion stylist Patricia Coronado—Jodi was a sight to behold. She was a star among stars.

Check out Jodi's outfit, which she posted on Instagram last November 19, during the Opening Cocktails.

For this event, she wore a Bessie Besana suit that Jodi's stylist, Patricia Coronado, called a "passionate collaboration piece," because it was a product of discussions between Jodi's team and the designer.
