Miss Universe US Virgin Islands and Miss Universe Thailand arrived in the Philippines with numerous luggage.

Very crucial to a Miss Universe candidate is her wardrobe.

Even during the pre-pageant activities, she has to look her best, so every detail in her OOTD—from hair accessory to blings to dress to shoes—are planned meticulously.

Hence, it doesn't come a surprise when some of the candidates arrived with tons of luggage.

Some of their photos have gone viral, with the netizens so curious about their excess baggage fees.

You'll be surprised, however, that some managed to travel light.

Miss Germany Johanna Acs only brought three, a body bag and two suitcases, for her 19-day stay here.

Miss Chile Catalina Caceres had her bags wrapped with green hardy plastics so it was hard to tell whether she brought a total of eight or nine suitcases and bags.

Miss US Virgin Islands Carolyn Carter, the first candidate to arrive, brought eight suitcases and five bags, plus her hand carry.

It was her third time to visit the Philippines.

So far, out of the 86 ladies that are expected to join the 65th edition of the pageant, more than 70 candidates have arrived.

Based on the social media posts, Miss Thailand Namtan Sualita Suansane is the queen of luggage.

On January 10, the 22-year-old beauty arrived with 17-piece luggage weighing 300 kilograms, which is ten times higher than the baggage allowance.
