Miss Philippines Maxine Medina landed in the top six of Miss Universe 2016 grand competition held earlier today, January 30, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Though she did not win the crown, she had her stunning moments on stage and made us proud.
Maxine wore a Rhett Eala emerald green fringe gown at the Miss Universe 2016 preliminaries last January 23, and looked like a queen.
Maxine looked very regal in Eala's take on the national costume, which embraced the diversity of the Filipino ethnicity and drew inspiration from Zamboanga's vinta boats.
Following her strong presentations at the preliminaries, Maxine continued to stand out on stage at the grand coronation.
In a fuchsia Sherri Hill gown, she was a picture of sophistication during the opening number.
This look made it to Top 13.
Host Steve Harvey (left) was visibly nervous to have both Philippines and Colombia together in Top 13.
For the swimsuit portion, Maxine wore a two-piece, tropical-designed bikini.
She made it to top nine.
Maxine nailed a spot in the top six wearing Eala's sparkling ruby creation, which advanced her to the crucial Q&A portion.
Here’s a look at Maxine during the evening gown portion.
We're proud of you, Maxine!
