Now that she’s back in the Philippines, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach revealed that part of her to-do list is to move to a new home.
She explained, however, that it will probably take some time since packing her clothes alone is proving to be a big chore.
What will she do with all the clothes she wore during her reign as Miss Universe 2015?
Pia answered, “Some of my friends are teasing me that I hoard clothes, but I really don’t.
“The clothes that I wore in Miss Universe, inipon ko sila. I put them in boxes, and I had them sent here to the Philippines because I am actually planning on doing a garage sale or an auction.
“For each garment, I’m going to label for which event I used it as Miss Universe.”
The 27-year-old beauty queen further shared that she plans to donate the proceeds to her hometown, Cagayan De Oro (CDO), which had been ravaged by flash floods last January.
“All the proceeds I kinda wanna give back to CDO since I never had the chance to do a homecoming there.
“It will be my way of giving back.”
Wondering how many Miss Universe clothes are we talking about?
Pia revealed, “It’s 20 boxes!”
She added, “Right now though, slowly but surely, naglilipat-bahay pa ako.
“I’m still adjusting to the afterlife of a Miss Universe. But I will get there.
“I am just slowly unpacking my stuff.”
Incidentally, the evening gown that Pia wore on the night she was crowned as Miss Universe was showcased at the media launch of Downy Parfum Collection's #NeverFade campaign, held at Shangri-La The Fort last night, March 8.
