Former Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7 teen housemate Kisses Delavin celebrated her 18th birthday with a party fit for a princess!
The Kapamilya teen star had a floral-themed party on Monday night, May 1, at the Shangri-la Hotel in Makati City.
She took everyone's breath away as she walked down the grand staircase with MYX VJ Donny Pangilinan as her escort.
The debutante's massive ball gown was a creation of Filipino fashion designer Francis Libiran.
Her intricately embellished blush gown has an off-shoulder sweetheart neckline and a two-meter trail with layers and layers of petals made from silk organdy.
In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) via text message, Francis thanked Kisses and her family for picking him to create the debutante's dream debut ball gown.
He said, "Kisses, together with her parents, set an appointment with me to discuss the gown.
"They came in as a client, and I felt so honored that they really wanted me to do Kisses's gown for her debut."
He continued, "During our appointment, they told me what they wanted: dainty, not too revealing, age-appropriate, and with my signature aesthetics in it.
"Then I sketched my first try, and they liked it immediately. The inspiration was 'Kisses in full bloom.'"
To complete her look, Kisses wore her hair in a gorgeous half-up with soft curls and full bangs. She also went for a barely-there rose-toned makeup.
Kisses changed into a floral-embroidered gown by Libiran. It had an asymmetrical hem.
Francis made sure Kisses's gowns will be memorable.
"I wanted her to stand out on that night since her parents told me that they never held a birthday party for Kisses in preparation for her debut.
"They wanted to make her 18th birthday a very big celebration, so the least I can contribute is to make her gowns [I made her a reception gown also] grand and picturesque.
"Kisses is such a sweet and lovely girl and I think her personality reflects on her debut gown."
