Raymond Gutierrez still can't believe he was able to inspire others to live a healthy lifestyle because of his own fitness journey: "I'm just thankful that, you know, I was able to influence others or inspire others to start their own journey."

A leaner Raymond Gutierrez made his runway debut last Wednesday, May 3, at the Tresemme Runway Ready 2017 fashion show held in One Canvas Events Place, Makati City.

Here's a video of Mond's runway walk:

In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) after the show, Raymond admitted that he was really nervous before the show.

"I was very nervous backstage because I don't normally do runway. It's the first time that I'm onstage and I have very little clothing.

"I'm in a sando and high-waisted pants, something that I don't wear every day."

Nevertheless, Raymond enjoyed every bit of the experience.

"It's an awesome feeling. The adrenaline rush is there, and I'm glad that all of my friends and family are here to support," he exclaimed.

Asked if he's ready to take on more skin-baring projects, Mond said he just wants to "take things in day by day."

He added, "I'm just happy that I feel healthy and I feel fit and I was able to things that I wasn't able to do before.

"In terms of projects, we're in talks with a few things, but who knows what the future will bring, but it's an exciting time from me right now."

The 33-year-old TV/events host said his runway appearance was his way of showing support for his designer friend Jerome Llorico.

He added, "I'm here to support my friend Jerome, and I believe in his creativity, in his talent.

"So when he handed me the clothes, I was like, 'You know what? I really love it!'"

FITNESS GOALS. Raymond still can't believe how many people he has inspired with his fitness journey.

For his 90-day fitness challenge, he lost 65 pounds.

He told PEP, "You know, it's still so overwhelming when people say that I'm their inspiration in their fitness journey.

"You know, it's an accidental thing because I just wanted to be healthy and fit.

"And because of my journey, a lot of people were inspired by that.

"And I'm just thankful that, you know, I was able to influence others or inspire others to start their own journey."

Has he achieved one hundred percent of his fitness goal?

Raymond admitted, "Not yet! I don't think you'll ever be one hundred percent.

"I think you can always improve on something.

"So now we're trying to improve on my muscle building.

"So there's always something to work towards.

"Maybe do a little bit more weights, eat a little bit more of protein.

"The diet will change a little bit more because now we're done with losing the weight, so now we're going to add a little bit more muscle."
