Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stunned spectators and fans alike at the the 70th annual Cannes Film Festival.

At the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, Andi Eigenmann attended the esteemed film festival as part of the cast for the 2016 Filipino entry Ma'Rosa.

The young actress made the Filipino fashion community beam with pride when Andi was included Vanity Fair's Best-Dressed List for wearing an all-white cape jumpsuit designed by Patty Ang.

For 2017 Cannes Film Festival, two Filipino designers were given the spotlight.

This time around, their muse was none other than Bollywood actress and Miss World 1994, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stunned spectators and fans alike at the the 70th annual Cannes Film Festival as she made her way on the red carpet wearing a Cinderella-esque fully embroidered ball gown in blue.

The designer of the show-stopping gown was Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco, no less.

"Aishwarya is one of the most beautiful women in the world that I really admire and love. To see her wearing my couture dress on the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival is a dream come true," Michael reveals.

The dress was a piece from Michael's latest collection called The Impalpable Dream of Versailles, and was inspired by "a painting of Infanta Maria Theresa, the wife of Sun King Louis XIV of the Palace of Versailles."

It seems the Indian actress' stylist has been looking to the South East as Aishwarya was also spotted wearing a Mark Bumgarner creation.

This bead embroidered dress, which is crafted in Mikado silk and features a sweetheart neckline and tea length clover skirt, retails for around $10,200 at Moda Operandi.
