Eat Bulaga Dabarkads Alden Richards is possibly the first male celebrity to catch the attention of Italian fashion designer Stefano Gabbana.
Clad in Dolce & Gabbana's #Boycott T-shirt during the noontime variety show's episode on Thursday, June 29, Alden's caption read: "Beat the heat! Gabbana all the way. @loveluxebags"
Aldenatics then started tagging Stefano's Instagram account.
In response, Stefano left three heart emojis on the comments section of Alden's post.
Alden got the shirt from Aimee Hashim of LoveLuxeBags, which currently sells it for PHP22,000.
Stefano and the other half d D&G, Domenico Dolce, launched the shirt early this month after a number of netizens used the hashtag #BoycottDolceGabbana on the brands official Instagram accounts.
The two designers were criticized after associating their brand to U.S. First Lady Melania Trump.
Last May, Melania wore a 51,500-dollar (or PHP2.6 million) floral D&G jacket during the G7 Summit in Sicily, Italy.
Elle reported that the amount drew flak because it was "$7,000 more than her countrymen's yearly salary."
The brand reposted a photo of Melania on its official Instagram account with several heart emojis and the hashtag #DGWoman.
