Diana Zubiri on the perks of being a hands-on mom: "Masarap lang sa feeling na involved kaming dalawa sa pag-alaga sa mga bata. At the same time, parang nae-exercise ka rin.

Nursing dresses are not exactly among the priorities of new mommies.

But to Diana Zubiri, breastfeeding baby Aliyah is more than just feeding her. It is making that "special bond" between a mom and her little girl.

And that's something she can't properly do if she feels uncomfortable and awkward because of her dress.

It's just actually a minor thing among the many concerns of a mommy, but nonetheless, it causes a bit of stress.

Hence, last March, she started her latest online venture, which sells comfy and chic nursing dresses.

On the set of Dear Uge in Masambong, Quezon City last July 11, she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal),  “Before, ang binebenta namin ay mga sports and athletic wear, lalo na sa mga mothers na mahilig mag-workout.

Her designs are hip and do not actually look like nursing dresses.

“'Tsaka yung material niya, very soft. Comfortable for both moms and babies."

Best of all, the price ranges from 800 to 1,200 pesos.

“Makikita nila yung mga items namin via my Instagram na loving_diana@instagram and via Facebook na lovingdianaz.”

POST-NATAL BULGES. Now, how to look good in those dresses?

Here's how Diana lost weight eight months after giving birth in August 2016.

In the beginning, it was not easy for the actress, who resumed her television career in October 2016.

Thanks to her husband Andy Smith, she got herself a motivator and a gym buddy.

She said, "Si Andy ang laging nagsasabi na mag-workout kami nang sabay.

"Pinu-push niya ako na maging fit at bumalik yung dating figure ko, especially after a few months na ipinanganak ko si Aliyah.

"Medyo tumaba talaga ako.”

Aside from working out, being a hands-on mom to her two kids Achilles and Aliyah Rose also helped.

They do have a helper who does most of the household chores.

“At the same time, parang na-e-exercise ka rin.

But she considered breastfeeding as the most effective.

“Hanggang ngayon naman, nagpapa-breastfeed pa rin ako kay Aliyah who will turn one year old sa August 14."

What's her next TV project after Encantadia?

“Napaka-supportive nila sa akin,” she ended.
