There are days when Danica Sotto-Pingris likes to dress up, but most of the time, she's happy with her "shirt and shorts" combo.
As far as fashion is concerned, comfort is a major consideration to this mom of two.
"Very ano, e. Gusto ko yung simple lang saka nakakagalaw," she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an exclusive interview at the opening of District 8 restaurant-bar, where her husband Marc Pingris is a co-owner.
She resumed, "Since ako naghahatid-sundo sa mga bata, hindi ako makaporma na talagang dapat comfy lagi yung suot ko.
"Kasama ako sa pagsusundo even when there’s a driver."
When asked if she has a collection of bags and shoes, the eldest daughter of Vic Sotto and his ex-wife Dina Bonnevie shook her head.
Since she got married, the lady has not bought a bag for herself.
Puro regalo.
"Regalo ni Marc, regalo ni daddy, yung ganyan."
The most expensive bag in her closet was given by her dad.
"Pinakamahal kong bag? Siguro yung Celine na regalo ni daddy."
Not that she's kuripot, Danica just feels she can spend the money on something more important.
But she does not really look at the brand, and is not the type who buys right away.
