GMA-7 actress Carla Abellana hosted the Miss World Philippines 2017's grand coronation night with Iya Villania and KC Montero on Sunday night, September 3, held at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Four beauty queens were named during the Miss World Philippines 2017's grand coronation night held at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, on Sunday night, September 3.

Over 35 aspiring beauty queens battled it out to win the next Miss World Philippines title and three other crowns during the pageant.

However, Carla Abellana, who served as one of the hosts, stole the show.

Her beauty during the coronation night became a hot topic on the Twitterverse.

Kudos to her glam team: celebrity stylist Margaux Medina, makeup artist Dino Lazaro, and hairstylist Mark Baquiran.

Now here's the breakdown of her looks for the night.

During the opening, she wore a bespoke black Yong Davalos creation.

Mark gave her a mid-part, low bun hairstyle, while Dino picked the light-pink color for her makeup.

Carla changed into a dreamy blush pink gown from Rosenthal Tee's Spring/Summer 2018 collection.

Her gown featured a plunging neckline and bustier adorned with blush-colored leaf appliques.

For her hair, Mark gave her a sleek and mid-part hairdo.


Ateneo de Manila University's courtside reporter Laura Lehmann was hailed Miss World Philippines 2017.

Meanwhile, Winwyn Marquez bagged the crown for Reina Hispano Americana Filipinas.

Other winners were Cynthia Thomalla as Miss Eco Philippines 2017 and Sophia Senoron as Miss Multinantional Philippines 2017.

Glyssa Leian Perez was 1st Princess and Zara Carbonell was 2nd Princess.
