How's Maureen Wroblewitz four months since she was hailed Asia's Next Top Model?
"I've become very, very busy," she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an exclusive interview last Friday, October 27, before her meet-and-great session for clothing brand ForMe in Trinoma, Quezon City.
She continued, "I got to have amazing opportunities, amazing endorsements. I got to travel to New York, I got to travel around.
"I went back to Singapore also, and it's just been very busy for me, but I'm just having fun with every moment."
The Pinay model said there's hardly any pressure living up to the title she won, but a lot has definitely changed.
Maureen related, "It was hard to get used to it. It's not as easy anymore to go to malls, things like that, public places. I had to get used to that.
"Also being recognized in the streets like it's still weird for me, especially when I go out of the country, where no one knows me.
"And then I go back here and other people asks us like, 'Oh yeah, I forgot...' I tend to forget that I won."
She added, "It was hard at first, like sometimes I forget about it, but it didn't really like...
"It's like I'm getting used to everything and it's not bad."
FASHION FAVORITES. The AsNTM Cycle 5 winner is currently obsessed with thigh-high or high-cut boots.
She gushed, "I love them so much!"
Her go-to outfits are the classics "like those cropped tops with high-waisted jeans."
But on top of her shopping list is a pair of ankle boots because "I've only had them on shoots and I really want them."
Maureen added, "Then, I want a jeans jacket, an oversized one that has a really huge print at the back."
But what's the most expensive fashion item in her closet?
Maureen answered, "I got a Louis Vuitton shoes as a gift, but I didn't buy it.
"But the most expensive thing I bought with my own money is 50 euros [around PHP 3,000].
"It may not be that much, but it's a lot for me, especially, it's for clothes."
And what are her no-nos?
"I just really don't like the colorful stockings... I don't like neon things at all."
Shopping is something that Maureen does leisurely. In fact, one of her shopping sprees lasted for seven hours!
Maureen recalled, "I had to go home because the stores are already closing, and I went there pretty early.
"So it was more than seven hours and it didn't feel like seven hours, because I just went from store to store to store.
"I can shop for so long!
"If I have enough money, then yes!"
