Today, November 14, is the grand coronation of Miss International 2017.
A few hours ago, Philippine bet Maria Angelica de Leon wrote a long post about her pageant journey since she joined Bb. Pilipinas in 2013.
She summed it up this way: "I loved every moment of it; the good and the bad. It has made me a stronger, wiser, and empowered woman. More than I thought I ever could be. It has taught me to push my limits, to break down walls, to fight harder, to take risks, and to be courageous. I am proud of the woman I have become..."
Now whether Mariel (her nickname,)brings home the crown or not, let's check out her pre-pageant looks that are enough for us to exclaim, "Good job, girl."
For her visit to the office Mikimoto, maker of the Miss International crown, she donned an eyelet dress designed by Pat Santos, and paired it with a YSL bag and shoes.

During the welcome dinner, she bloomed in a blue gown by John Herrera.
For the dinner in Saitama, a landlocked prefecture of Japan, she wore a lace dress by Joel Escober.
Another welcome dinner was hosted in Niigata, which is famous for its high quality rice, beautiful coastal and mountainous sceneries, and hot-spring bathing.
Mariel donned a Pablo Cabahug creation.
She dropped by the Tokyo University clad in a coat from LFT outerwear collection; top and pants from Zara; shoes from Tory Burch.
Mariel also carried a Prada bag.

For her visit to Odawara, a beautiful city located just an hour south of Tokyo, she wore happi, a "traditional Japanese straight-sleeved coat usually made of indigo or brown cotton and imprinted with a distinctive mon."
This Vania Romoff floral dress was a perfect fit.

The 19-year-old beauty queen wore a red Sheln coat and a pair of Charles Keith shoes during their visit to the Imperial Park and Robot restaurant.
