GMA-7 actor/host Alden Richards celebrated his 26th birthday with his fans on Wednesday, January 3.
Among the many surprises for him during the party was a birthday cake inspired by his favorite sneakers: Valentino Lace Less Open sneakers in white and black.
The birthday boy likes Valentino shoes, and is usually seen wearing his favorite pairs on the Kapuso network's noontime variety show Eat Bulaga.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with his personal shopper Aimee Hashim, who supplied most of the shoes in his collection.
Alden's current favorites, according to her, are "Valentino and D&G Spiga."
She revealed, "He knows what he wants and he's very particular [about] his shoes.
"Alden is very much into shoes and watches, yun yung hilig niya, and now, he's starting with designer clothes."
But the actor is not really fond of shopping.
Aimee continued, "Sabi niya nga sa akin, kahit nag-a-abroad siya, 'Andiyan ka naman, e. Ikaw na lang bumili,' kesa yung siya pa.
"Of course, when he's abroad, he'd rather spend time sightseeing or taking time to rest than shopping."
