Heart Evangelista makes a stand for the LGBT community in her red carpet look at President Rodrigo Duterte's 3rd State of the Nation address today, July 23.
Wearing an all-white, three-piece Filipiniana-inspired ensemble, Heart has pinned the LGBT rainbow flag on the upper left side of her blazer to show her support for the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity or Expression (SOGIE) Equality Bill, which awaits passage into law at the Senate.
Heart wrote on Instagram, "Everyone has the right to live, work, and dream.
"The SOGIE bill is a step in the right direction to guarantee the protection of those rights, especially for our friends in the LGBT community.
"Last year the bill made great progress but we still have a long way to go.
"My husband and I are in full support of this bill and hope to see it move forward and become a law. ???? #sona2018 #LoveIsAllWeNeed"
