Regine Velasquez received a grand welcome at ABS-CBN yesterday, October 17, when she had her contract signing and presscon as an official Kapamilya.
This marks a new chapter in Regine's life after being a GMA-7 artist for two decades. She joins her husband Ogie, who transferred to ABS-CBN in 2016.
The Asia's Songbird arrived at the ABS-CBN compound in a short-sleeved Kenzo Visage printed silk blouse, a red ruffled tea-length skirt, and a pair of black platform stilettos.
She said about her outfit, "Sa totoo lang, kasi talaga kaninang umaga, nung dumating kami, nag-ayos na ako, nataranta talaga ako. Limang beses akong nagbihis, teh.
"Hindi naman ako pawisin, [pero] pawis na pawis ako, kasi kinakabahan ako 'tapos nakita ko yung mga taong nag-welcome sa akin nakakatuwa."
Regine wore her straight, long hair down, and picked a bold red color for her lips.

Interestingly, Regine wore the same Kenzo top—which retails at $574 on Farfetch.com—back in February 2018 when she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that she would remain a Kapuso.
"I've been with GMA for a long time. They’ve been really, really nice to me," Regine said during a presscon for GMA-7’s regional tour, held at Forest House Bistro and Cafe in Baguio City, on February 24.

The discussion stemmed from a banter that happened a couple of weeks earlier at #PaMore, Regine's Valentine concert with husband Ogie, Martin Nievera, and Erik Santos, who are all Kapamilya artists.
Erik then teased Regine that she might want to transfer to ABS-CBN.
Asked to elaborate about it, Regine told PEP.ph at GMA-7's regional tour in Baguio City, "Ewan ko sa kanila. Kapag nakikita nila ako, palagi nila akong sinasabihan, ‘O, ikaw na lang...’ Hahaha!"
And what was Regine's response to fellow performers goading her to transfer to ABS-CBN?
"Ganun? Huwag na tayong nanghahatak. Okay naman ako dito."
Regine is proof that we are allowed to change our minds, and more importantly, even celebrities can repeat outfits.
