Hence, some supermarkets have started regulating Yakult purchases.

We've spotted signs in Landers Superstore, which now limits purchase to two packs of Yakult per transaction, while SM Hypermarket has a 5-pack limit.

Yakult has assured in an official statement that they are doing their best to replenish their stocks in supermarkets and grocery stores despite the enhanced community quarantine.
The Department of Trade and Industry is yet to clarify if Yakult is part of its Memorandum Circular No. 20-10: Anti-Hoarding and Anti-Panic Buying Directive.
