Video creator Karel Kat Lopez sent her 1.8 million Facebook followers on a laughing frenzy Thursday night, February 9, 2023.
Relating what had happened, she wrote (published as is), "Nakita ko may steak sila 400"
Since it was her first time to try steak, she asked for the largest piece they have: "Sabi ko ito para ma try ko sabi ko pa sa waiter yung pinaka malaki kasi 1st time ko [sad face emoji]"
What started as an exciting night, turned into an unpleasant surprise for her when she received the bill: "Gulat ako pag bill out ko 6k."
She continued, "Kala ko 400 isa."
As it turned out, the steak was priced at PHP400.00 per gram.
Karel ended her post with a crying emoji before saying, "Wag nyoko kakausapin !!!!"

In the comments section, the content creator added more episodes from her steak night, one of which narrates her exchange with the waiter when asked about the doneness of her meat.
When asked if she would like her steak done medium rare, she answered "more on small po ako."
Adding even more hilarity, Karel asked for ketchup and toyomansi, condiments commonly paired with meat in a typical Pinoy meal, but considered a major food sin.
Not believing the story, internet celebrity character Senyora commented, "Di mukhang 6K steak yan. Resibo reveal."
To which Karel replied, "Senyora tanong mo po dito kasi bz pako mag hugas ng plato"
As of press time, the post has already garnered over 262,000 reactions, and over 8,000 shares.
