Para kay Judy Ann Santos, magkaiba ang saya na nakukuha niya mula sa pag-arte at sa pagluluto.

Pero kung may common denominator man ang dalawa, iyon ay ang 100 percent na pagmamahal niya sa anumang bagay na ginagawa niya.

"But if the passion is the same, I think the effort would still be the same, it’s just that when you’re acting you’re using emotions. Kailangang makita at maramdaman ng mga tao yun.

"Sa pagluluto ganun din, you will use your emotions, only to connect to your food. Pero hindi kailangang lumuha ng pagkain, hindi kailangang manampal ng pagkain, pero gusto mo silang sampalin ng sarap, sa kung anumang pagkain ang gagawin mo."

Basta parehong parte ang mga ito ng pagkatao ni Judy Ann.

“When it comes to acting, iba yung hugot ko. And when it comes to cooking, mas lalong iba kasi it brings me back to the times that I was just cooking in my kitchen kasi pagod ako, I just want to destress my mind.

“Sa pagluluto talaga ako bumabalik pag nai-stress ako sa pag-arte. Ngayon, pagka nai-stress na ako sa pagluluto, babalik ako sa pag-arte."

JUDY SANTOS ON DESTRESSING THRU ACTING AND COOKING

Malaking bagay para kay Judy Ann na may outlet siya sa kanyang creativity at energy.

Hindi kailang hands-on siya pagdating sa restaurant nila ng mister na si Ryan Agoncillo, ang Angrydobo. Mayroon pa siland nilunsad na chef's night, kung saan personal na ipinagluluto ni Judy Ann ang kanyang VIP guests.

Kuwento pa ni Judy Ann: “So it’s a win-win situation, that’s when Judy Ann’s Kitchen was born.

NOOD KA MUNA!

"I got very tired with a lot of things back then, so I wanted to prove something, so I produced Judy Ann’s Kitchen.

“So, pag nauubos naman na yung utak ko sa pag-iisip ng recipes and episodes for Judy Ann’s Kitchen magbe-break muna ako. I go back to acting.

“So it is something that unconsciously happened along the way na I wasn’t really aware na I was building two playgrounds for my passion."

Nakausap si Judy Ann ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang miyembro ng entertainment media sa junket ng UFC ketchup brand noong December 12, 2025.

Celebrity ambassador si Judy Ann sa event na binigyan ng focus ang global quality standard ng UFC at ang pagiging bahagi nito sa mga Pinoy food.

JUDY ANN'S 12 MEALS FOR CHRISTMAS

At dahil magpa-Pasko, hiningan si Judy Ann ng rekomendasyon na 12 meals na bagay sa handaan para sa 12 days of Christmas.

“Oh my gosh. 12 meals? With diet or walang diet? No diet pag Christmas, di ba?" natawang bulalas ni Judy Ann.

Game namang nag-isip ng food suggestions ang aktres.

"Of course, Christmas ham! With dinner rolls. Andiyan ang truffle galantina—chicken galantina na may truffle rice sa loob.

"Tapos meron kang lechon belly, pork belly na crispy, di ba? Tapos, maglagay tayo ng salad para you know, balanced meal.

"Ensaladang talong kasi perfect yan sa crispy pork," napatiling sabi pa ni Judy Ann.

“Panlima, of course, Pinoy spaghetti, hindi puwedeng mawala, hindi talaga puwedeng mawala. Lumpiang shanghai, hindi iyan puwedeng mawala.

“Aba, maglalagay ako ng baked oysters! Na may laing, na may cream cheese.

"Siyempre, maglagay tayo ng macaroni salad para Pilipinong-Pilipino. maglalagay din tayo siyempre ng side dishes na potato salad na may longganisa para Filipino spread pa din.

“Bago yun, di ba, potato salad na may crumbled longganisa imbes na bacon? Uy!"

Napapikit pa na waring sarap na sarap si Judy Ann habang nai-imagine ang mga naisip niyang putahe.

“Tapos ay gusto ko rin ng relyenong bangus!.

“Dessert na tayo, e, di leche flan. Leche flan at ssaka buko lychee [salad].”

Nang mag-suhestiyon ang awtor na ito na bagay ang canned lychee sa dessert na gusto ni Judy Ann, sumang-ayon ang aktres.

"Of course! Very plump, namumutok-mutok, very juicy! That’s my twelve meals for Christmas."
